We are still open!

But to stay open, we need your help to ensure we look after everyone. The health and well-being of our customers and our team members is of utmost importance.

The following guidelines are to be adhered to by all Aaromat Group Employees and visitors to our premises at all times.

1. Physical Distancing: ALL staff and visitors MUST abide by current Federal Government requirements to be 2 metres from all other people.

2. Hand Sanitiser: All visitors to the buildings MUST be directed to read our statement (available at our reception desk and outlined below) and use the hand sanitiser BEFORE making it past the foyer.

3. Hand Hygiene: ALL staff must wash hands for required 20 seconds – sing Happy Birthday to me!
a. This must be done at ALL of the following times:
i. At the start of the work day
ii. After all food / toilet breaks
iii. After all cigarette breaks
iv. At the beginning and end of Morning Tea and Lunch breaks

4. Don’t touch your face! If you need to wash your hands first. If you do – back to the basin – sing it again and use soap.

5. Staff Breaks: Observe physical distancing rules during break times. If you can sit outside in the sunshine to eat – do it! Get some Vitamin D 

6. Headsets / welding helmets:

a. All staff required to wear headsets / helmet of any kind – spray with anti bacterial spray prior to wearing.
b. Do NOT share your head set / helmet.

7. If you feel sick – please report to your supervisor – still observing the physical distancing guidelines.

• If anyone is unsure of above information please see Richard, Nonie, Andy or Jack promptly.
• The above requirements are not a laughing matter.
• These guidelines are put in place for your health, and the well being of all people we interact with.
• Failure to adhere to these requirements could result in disciplinary action, which may lead to loss of employment.

Customers onsite (inc receiving) policy

Dear Valued Customer

Due to the increasing impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we have made some changes to our operations that we would like you to be aware of.

The health and safety of our customers and staff is our highest priority. We have now implemented additional measures with our team to minimise the risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19.

These are:
Staff to stay home if unwell: We have insisted to our whole team, if they feel unwell and show flu like symptoms that they do not attend work.
Personal Hygiene: We have asked our team to practice good personal hygiene like regular washing of hands; not touching their face; coughing into their elbow; and regular use of hand sanitizer, as available in our office and production areas.
Social Distancing: We are implementing social distancing measures by reducing and restricting physical contact and proximity. The following measures should be implemented as below:
• No handshaking or any other physical contact.
• Maintaining a minimum distance of 2 metres between Aaromat team and the customer.
• Regular cleaning of all door handles, phone handsets, light switches etc.

We ask for your support in implementing these measures to ensure our staff and customers remain safe and healthy. We also have a responsibility to do what we can to minimise spread in the wider community.

All Visitors please note

To assist our team in doing their best to protect you and themselves, please follow these guidelines when visiting Aaromat premises.

  • No physical contact – this includes shaking hands, hugs etc.
  • Please use the Hand sanitizer provided before handling material on our sites
  • Do not touch your face after sanitizing / hand washing.
  • Wash your hands, frequently.
  • If you need to cough, do so with a tissue or the inside of your elbow over your mouth and nose.
  • Practice safe socialising! Stay up to 2 metres from others where possible in an effort to limit your exposure.
  • If you have recently returned from overseas AND have a temperature or cough, please take our business card and either email or phone and we will be happy to assist with your job.

These are:
Staff to stay home if unwell: We have insisted to our whole team, if they feel unwell and show flu like symptoms that they do not attend work.
Personal Hygiene: We have asked our team to practice good personal hygiene like regular washing of hands and coughing into their elbow.
Social Distancing: We are implementing social distancing measures by reducing and restricting physical contact and proximity. The following measures should be implemented as below:
• No handshaking or any other physical contact.
• Maintaining a minimum distance of 2 metres between Aaromat team and the customer.
• Temporary removal of the need to sign for the receipt of your delivery.

We ask for your support in implementing these measures to ensure our staff and customers remain safe and healthy. We also have a responsibility to do what we can to minimise spread in the wider community.
